Did you mean:

Is there no complaints process whatsoever for ebay?!

Do they answer to no one?

All I get is I'm sorry mumbo jumbo from the help chat assistants. Repetitive generic fluff to avoid answering my questions.

they advise me there is no escalation process for complaints is this the case?

I'm staggered.

"Do they answer to no one?"

Unfortunately only to their shareholders.

There is one, but it may be wholly useless.  You have to write a letter to the address given in the user agreement.

We don't spout generic fluff and are usually better anyway, you could ask us?

EBay doesn't have a complaints procedure.

If you had told us what the problem is, someone here may have been able to help.

At a guess, have some sellers perhaps blocked you from bidding? This can happen when a buyer only seems to use feedback to complain, and never returns the positive feedback which sellers (95 in the last year) have left for them.

I have been "with" eBay since dinosaurs roamed the earth and have bought and sold.  I have had no problems during that time which I have not been able to solve through the resolution centre and very few problems overall.  I have only needed to open one case against a seller and I can recall it to this day.  He had simply underpaid the postage and RM had stopped the delivery! And all for 3 "Almond Mars Bars". I have never needed to leave any adverse feedback and have only received one "neutral" which was "paid by Paypal".  The main thing that I accept is that I work by ebay's rules and they do not work by mine!

As @papso22  implies there is rarely any need to speak to eBay.  You can outline the problem here and we may be able to assist with the way forward.  If ebay's systems are used correctly they do - within limits - work
