Yes that's what they say but in practice is different.
It only says that item was authenticated and will be shipped to me shortly.
Yet didn't arrived. Another pair which was bought on the next day but
authenticated on the same day arrived yesterday and the status on that page
didn't change...

If you are given tracking then of course you can check it. If you arn't given tracking then you can't.

I can never see the point of checking tracking, it is for the benefit of the SENDER, the receiver soon knows when it arrives , before the tracking is updated.

I only have the tracking nr from sender but it only goes as far as Ebay
Authentication Centre.
Now it's 8 days after authentication and I still didn't receive the parcel.
So it would be convenient when that at this step Ebay should update with
the second tracking nr.
