Hello!
I recently bought a Mamas and Papas baby snug seat with activity tray and now realise after a friend pointed out to me, a month after purchasing, that it is missing the seat insert. I have contacted the seller who tells me this is how they bought it, missing the insert! Which I fail to believe.
What's my next step, asking for a refund for a faulty product?
What does "a month after purchasing" mean? The exact date is critical on eBay. If it's within 30 days after the date of delivery it's still be possible to open a case under eBay's money back guarantee, see: https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/
EBay will probably support you, although if this was bought second hand from a private seller eBay may take account of what was actually shown and described in the listing. What counts is whether the item matched the description. If eBay is willing to treat the allegedly missing part, which neither you nor the seller apparently even realised existed, as an undeclared fault you may win.
