Hi Experienced eBay users,

I have this eBay account registered as Business account, currently it is a Power seller account with Top rated rating. From last many months I am not selling on my account and paying monthly shop subscription fee for no reason and not making any money out of it. I requested eBay CS to downgrade my account to a private acount as dont want to lose my 100% possitive feedbacks (809) but CS refused to downgrade as private account.

Due to personal reasons I am not in a position to continue selling things on eBay. Is there any way I can avoid paying monthly subscription fee? and I can keep my account in any form other than business?

Please help me to get out of it.

You can close your shop at any time, regardless of your seller status, once you've closed the shop there will be no fees if you don't list any items for sale and you can continue to use the account for buying only, if you wish.

It's rare that ebay will change a business account to private, but for buying only it makes no difference and you still keep all your feedback.
