Import charges

I have just brought an item costing over £270 from Poland. I also paid a delivery charge. My item arrived last week and now I have just received a bill from Fedex for £75.00?? Import fees??

I wasn`t informed about this extra cost, no where in the listing does it mention this. Ebay is next to useless now you cant call them, can anyone advise what I should do?

import charges have nothing to do with the seller or eBay - buy from outside UK and you have to pay them.

Also, the neg you left mentioning import charges can be removed.

It's presumably the UK VAT.  All foreign sales listings do have a warning that there may be import charges.  Before we left the EU there were no charges from EU.  Now there is no duty.
