Immediate payment request when winning

Hi, I have recently set up a number of items on sale all with immediate payment. One has just sold but it says it's awaiting payment. How can this be if I have set up immediate payment?

you accepted an offer,

you can't have immediate payment when you accept an offer, as the buyer might not be online when you accept the offer!

Thank you, that makes more sense. Although, it was a counter offer they accepted this morning which I submitted last night. So if they accepted a counter offer, shouldn't that mean immediate payment?

no, immediate payment can't be used with offers

Thanks. I find that silly. If they accept an offer they should pay immediately. Now I have a buyer who will not respond to my messages or pay.
