I was stoped from bidding and consoquently,  lost the item, they said, ( EBAY) I HAD, exceeded,  my bids,??, hoes that work then? I was really annoyed, as my next bid, would have won!!, well, irritated, as I had been after this itum for weeks, ( a car) relisted I had a second chance, but lost it, through  some stupid, rule?? Hows that work then???, well, angry,  regards Ellbass.

You need only bid once [your highest bid].  EBay does limit new or returning members for security.  They may well set a limit as to "how high" you can bid. 

it is not really a good idea to bid on cars as - in my view - you should always inspect and get reports surely before any money.

Best to put 1 bid (your highest) in near the end, if you get out bid, someone was willing to pay more.
