Therefore, for imports the consignment will remain subject to import VAT (unless it is below the Low Value Consignment Relief threshold of £15) and supply VAT should not be charged.
you have charged me VAT I should be exempt from your countries VAT of 13% as I'm not resident in your country
& my country's 20% I'm under the threshold of £15, I would like the partial Refund of £0.94
I'm sure the Inland Revenue in UK will want you to pay ALL Vat you have charged paid back to england, as your company is not UK resident
I think You have made an error, or was this EBAY as my item was under £15.00p therefore are you going to refund the VAT or did EBAY force you to charge this did they take the vat or did you pocket it ???
I know this is a small amount but only UK registered companies can charge VAT, Technically you are breaking the law charging UK taxes, and this item is EXEMPT as under £15.00p
There is no Low Value Consignment Relief threshold of £15 anymore the gov removed this on 1st Jan,all purchases from overseas sellers are now subject to supply VAT which is taken at source of payment if under £135.
You are registered in UK and subject to above ruling
