I opened a return for a item granted i purchased 5weeks ago and its stopped working the seller emailed me for me to try something else. (This was a cordless earpiece and a rechargeable unit ). The seller refused the return and ebay closed the return request without any contact with me. Its like ebay and seller dont care they've had the money. There is nothing i can do now this is not great customer service
If it was 5 weeks that is outwith the 30 day [absolute] limit...
You could try a case for not as described with Paypal [up to 180 days]. Open the case and escalate after 2 days and before 20 days
