Back in January I bouught a Macbook. It seemed absolutely fine but when I decided to sell it on as the memory wasn't as big as I felt I needed, I tried to clear the macbook only to discover that it was EFI locked. I read that uninstalling the OS may help but it hasn't and the macbook is now useless. I've also spent £50 trying to get it fixed. It was 6 months ago so I can't seem to return it even though the description said nothing about it being EFI locked. What can I do?
Sorry nothing you can do through Ebay after 6 Months. You had 30 days to use the Ebay Money Back Guarantee and 180 days Buyer Protection with PayPal if you Paid that way.
Contact Citizens Advice regarding any Civil Action you can take.
