Hi,
I bought and paid for an item which was listed as being sent by 2nd class post. I had already made the payment by visa debit card but then subsequently agreed with the seller to pay for a courier service to get the item more quickly. I now owe an extra £1.49 but don't know how to pay the seller. How do I do this? I don't use ebay very often so don't know how to navigate it easily.
Thank you
Rob
Once you have paid the seller can not adjust the postage
You can send it to their paypal email address or they can pay you that way Friends and family or bank transfer. However you wish
It is not good for the buyer as if they have a problem the buyer would not be able to force the refund of that amount
Method of payment depends on whether the seller is on Managed payments or not. If just paid by paypal seller can send a Paypal Request for payment, BUT will incur more fees, or buyer cansen by Family & Friends then no mre fees to pay.
If seller/you are on Managed Payments this seems to have been over looked by ebay and the safest method is by bank transfer.
As said by paying in two amounts, the buyer gives up their right to a full refund. To be honest I would be happier just using RM, deliveries turn up on time, when Couriers can be very unreliable.
There is no way to do this through ebay so don't waste time looking.
