I don't know why this should be but would guess that it is a scam and want to sell outside Ebay. Scammers don't really want bids they just want sales and payment without delivering the vehicle.
Be very carefulif buying a car on ebay, DO NOT part with any money until you have inspected the vehicle and made all necessary checks, only when you are happy do yo pay and drive away. Remember you need Road Tax and Insurance first.
