How do I get a refund?

I purchased an item that was faulty and not as described. I initiated a refund with the agreement of the seller. Ebay then claimed I would receive this refund by early October, I have still not received it yet. I have contacted the seller more than once, each time they say they are intiiating the refund,and send a screenshot, as evidenced by the first line I have not received this refund in any of these casesupside_down.

 

I am unable to find a number for Ebay, so what I would like to ask is how can I actually get my money back?

Did you open a formal eBay case ?.   

Open an 'Item not as described' case within 30 days from delivery, escalate within 3 to 8 days and follow the instructions carefully through to completion for a refund ... ( Check PayPal as funds are returned to the source of payment), then repurchase ... Seller (or eBay) should supply a pre-paid return label ... ignore any seller promises or requests to close the case >
