How do I de-register from ebay.com but remain registered ith ebay.co.uk?

A member of ebay UK for many years, I seem to have been (unknowingly) registered on ebay.com which means, when I try to list an item for sale, I now get sent to ebay.com to enter a US social security number - which of course I don't have - and can't complete listing. How can I leave ebay.com?

Sign out of ebay and then sign back in and make sure you put ebay.co.uk

That should bring you back to the UK site

If it does not work then clear cookies and cache by clicking on Ctrl Shift and Delete or the three little dots at the top of your browser page and clear from there

If that does not work then try another browser

Thanks I'll try that. I've logged out and in many times but always jumps to .com at listing stage. I'll try clearing. Cheers

Logged out and (UK) in, cleared cookies and cache and tried it from a Chrome browser, but still get bumped ober to .com site when I try to list.?????
