How can the timing of a bid in bid history be shown as later than the current time?

Today as I was checking bids made on an item I was interested in with a day to go till the listing ends, i found there were two separate bids placed by a bidder, according to eBay, at 12.44 BST with today's date. I found it hard to believe as the actual time I looked was 11.45 BST. All other bids on this item are also timings BST. Either eBay doesn't know what British Standard Time is or they are in a parallel universe one hour in advance of me. Has anyone else had a similar experience, or is there something wrong with eBay's timing clock. Sorry but I didn't take a screen shot or have any idea how this happened.
