Honest Negative Feedback removed

Hi All,

How is it possible for eBay to remove NEGATIVE feedback? This is not in the interest of the Buyers. The feedback was completely honest short and to the point.

How are we as buyers to believe the feedback ratings .............. I for one will never believe them from now on. My advise is don't you.

Sorry but this is no way the correct way to assist buyers.

Must have violated policy in some way and being honest does not matter.

For example the positive you left a buyer attempting to turn the green dot into a red dot by putting "NEGATIVE FEEDBACK" - that would have been removed if the buyer complained.

The wording of the feedback is important.

If it mentions a case being opened then it can be removed.

If the buyer didn't use the correct ebay procedure before leaving the feedback it can be removed.

There are numerous reasons why a seller can get feedback removed.

Perhaps if  you gave us more information about what led to you leaving the negative feedback we may be able to explain how the seller got it removed.

Thank you your explanation could explain,
In December I bought the first item did not use till christmas, it was faulty, got in touch with seller but not interested as over 30 days since purchase date.
Thought I would test this seller out so purchased another early February, it came with the same fault, got in touch with seller who made excuses why the item was faulty (all false) would not refund. I approached eBay who decided in my favour and full cost was reimburst.
I sent back the new item to the seller and he sent back a photo of another well used item he said was the one I had returned accused me of fraud.
I still have the item purchased earlier and is as new because it was never used because of the fault.
I was not interested in a refund more interested in fare play and honesty this is why I am annoyed over the feedback being removed.
EBay can see all the emails sent to the seller and all the return messages,

If any feedback breaches ebay policies then it gets removed by ebay.Many high volume sellers are also guarded against so many negative feedback.

Feedback is purley how a buyer or seller feels a transaction went,so its not to be taken to seriously.

This feedback could not of breached eBay policies, the feedback stated " Bought two of this item and both were faulty" Thanks to eBay I was repaid the cost of one item the other bought 2 months prior. Therefore out side the 30 day t&c.
