As I understand it, the term "homage" or "replica" describes an item which a near exact copy of a branded item, but doesn't claim to be an original. A fake is designed to deceive, and may falsely display the original brand name and logo.
In the real world, terms like homage, replica and tribute are often a euphemism for fake.
If you're asking whether homage items are allowed to be sold on eBay, the short answer is that they're probably not. The brand owner is likely to own the intellectual property rights to the design, as well as to their own brand name and logo.
The big brand names have registered their rights under eBay's VERO scheme. This entitles them to report any listing that they believe infringes their rights to their name or design. EBay will remove the lisitng, and the seller will receive a warning about brand name misuse. Ignoring warnings is a likely to lead to a permanent ban from selling.
