Hello s it reasonable to Very High Bid, check out the Highest bid beneath you,then Retract said bid,and bid again, a bit higher than the already highest bid. Is this unfair practice.

you are the seller of this item , you have no way of knowing how much the re bid amount is

if a bidder had come with this question we qwould say it points to the seller using shill bidding

you also have one and half days until the end of the auction, so they can still be out bid

When someone makes a bid that is then retracted the seller is advised of
the amount of thatbid and the reason for retraction.
If I make a too high a bid I will know how much the other buyers are
prepared to go up to. And can then retract, and just bid up a step.
I can accept that you can mistakenly make a wrong high bid, and therefor
wish to retract on the basis that you'r not prepared to pay that amount.
But when you do it a 2nd time for a much higher price than the 1st high bid
you made, then retract and put in a lower but just above the previous
bidder, then I smell a rat.

It happens.  The problem is - of course - that unless it is done at the last minute [and I seem to recall it cannot be done in last 12 hours] any other bidder can put in a bid which is higher than the new bid.
