Hermes will charge around £6 for a 3Kg parcel where Royal Mail as around £9,buyers don't want to pay the extra.
My local Hermes driver is very good and normally i will get a tracking number so I can make sure someone is around to accept delivery,also I get a text on day of delivery with a time slot and a further text confirming delivery.
