Dear All
I sent off a parcel of fabric on 14 June, via Hermes. I can clearly see on the tracking system that the parcel is recorded as delivered on 18 June and there is a photo of it being accepted at the door of a block of flats.
The customer is now saying it has not been delivered.
I have messaged him via Ebay and given the tracking number to him. So far, he has not replied back to this.
What should I do next?
You must make sure the tracking is on the item in your Sold section before any dispute is opened
You should put tracking or the 16 digit code from a Post office receipt onto the item as soon as you post items in case of probles
As long as it says Delivered you will win the dispute
It would then be down to the buyer to check with Hermes as to where their item is
They should check with neighbours to see if someone took it in for them.
