Help with advert description window

Hey! Can anyone tell me, is there a way i can get my item description window (on the advert page, not when you select description) to display specific text I want? E.g. 'please read full description'

that listing has a full page of description, so I'm not sure what you mean,

what it doesn't have is your business details,

Yes when you select it, it does, but I want it to say please read full description on the browser box. Not just a random selection of text from full description.

if so, you want to get rid of the listing frame that you are using as it isn't 'mobile friendly'

Thanks for the advice, I have been registered with the HMRC since beginning this venture, but as I only make about 4k anually am under tax bracket. I discussed a business account with eBay and they suggested I kept the account personal in these unprecedented and unstable times.

ebay CS are not based in the UK and don't understand UK laws, you need to upgrade your account because you are trading.

Requirements for business sellers

The Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 - opens in new window or tab requires businesses to provide certain information about themselves, including their contact details and geographic address at which their business is established.

To fulfill this requirement, sellers operating as a business on eBay.co.uk must complete the Business Seller Information section within their account, which will automatically display their business contact details and address on the seller's profile page.

The Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (April 2008) makes it an offence in the UK for a business to falsely represent itself as a private individual. So if you are misleading potential buyers into thinking that you are a private individual when you are in fact a business seller (ie: by not registering as a business seller with eBay), you will be breaking the law.
