Hacked ebay account

 Has anybody had  dealings with a recently hacked account...??

the hacker gets into your ebay account, changes the "PAY TO"  paypal address from yours to "theirs"

and u keep selling goods but no payment comes thru via Paypal....!?

I have over 15 years with ebay and paypal and no problems, but twice in 2 weeks now.

same name  keeps cropping up!!

I realise that these are possibly also "hacked" ie "compromised" names and email addresses.....but any such names & text should be easy to pinpoint  and up for sudden and immediate inspection.!!!

This is being escalated to a police action shortly...so if you have any information to add, or advice, please get in touchasap.!

Hello Ed,

You cannot name and shame members on this public forum.   You need to come back and use the Option facility to delete them,  or a moderator will do so later.

If you have convincing evidence,  you either need to report their listings from the report buttons on all listings  if they are a seller,  or for a buyer,  phone eBay Customer Support from the Help & Contact tab above,  and inform them of your findings.

If you are receving emails which are not going through your eBay messaging system,   asking you to click on links,  these then bring you to a fake log in,  then forward these to spoof@ebay.com

thanx for the comment.. ive edited the relevant details out.
i guess i was a little bit angry and left the emails i the text.
all sorted now.. thanx for advice...
