Grammar!

Can someone please tell eBay (I cannot find any means to contact them) that their new advice email contains incorrect grammar! The email subject heading states "We got your order". This grammar is incorrect, it should read "We've got your order" or "We have received your order" or something else entirley such as "Thank you for your order". Sorry to be a pedant!

Although this area is meant to solve problems it's getting towards Christmas and in lockdown so I think we can occasionally wander off!

Welcome then to "Pedants' Corner".  If you look at these boards you will see far worse!

In fact though you are right there is absolutely no way to let eBay know of this howler.  They would do nothing in any event.  They have no interest in suggestions!

Even the great Waitrose is not exempt.  Their checkouts do say "10 items or fewer" but they had a sign some while back "All our fish and seafood are fresh"  Tsk tsk
