Global shipping

Please can someone help..

I sent my first item through the GSP.

It somehow arrived damaged (which I understand is covered by the GSP)

how does the seller get their money back through the GSP as they have tried everything and I don't know how to instruct them.  eBay appear to be a nightmare at living by their 'buyer protection' and make it near impossible to resolve!! So frustrated I could really do with a step by step guide or a link that I can send the seller so that they can submit a return and get their money back through eBay GSP without me having to lose out. I packaged the item so thoroughly goodness knows how it got damaged but have received photos to say it has.

please help someone so that I can resolve as it's been going on a couple of weeks now 😞

The buyer opens a case under eBay's money back guarantee, in the usual way.

When you respond to the case, you need to state very clearly that it was sent using eBay's global shipping programme. EBay, and not the seller, is then liable for refunding fir any loss or damage during the international delivery.

Before the buyer opens a case, if you haven't already uploaded the tracking number to eBay's gsp hub, you MUST do so now, see: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/posting-items/tracking-items-youve-sold?id=4088
