Global shipping Damage

Hi

At the end of my tether

I sent an item via global shipping, when the item arrived it was damaged and missing a part, buyer opened the case and sent picture, I noticed it was not in the same box or packaging I used, contacted ebay and they advised not to respond to the case and I was covered, they also admitted that items were repackaged at Global Shipping, they would sort it out when case expired, although I kept buyer informed.

Today I was told the case resolved and I lost as I had not responded, money was taken.

i contacted ebay again and after 30 mins of trying to explain the case was told it would be reviewed by ebay Italy ?

Why item was sent to UK global shipping, Repackaged at UK global shipping and damaged at UK global shipping

the usual advice is -

You need to be extremely careful how you handle this as you could be seriously out of pocket if you try to handle this yourself. Global is responsible for the refund, not you.

Your buyer needs to open a case for not as described 'damaged in transit' and you respond and you cite that according to Global T&C you, the seller, are not responsible for any loss or damage in transit once it has arrived at the Global hub.

Contact eBay and ask for thier Global team.
