I was entering in my bank account details for eBay to use when I sell an item but I really don't understand why I should sign up for a direct debit with eBay when I don't actually incur monthly costs???

If you Sell those Coins EBay needs to Pay the Money minus the Fees into your Bank Account.

Enter Managed Payments into Help and Contact top left or at the very foot of the Page.

If you do Sell those Coins you won't be covered against Loss or Damage in Transit unless you Post by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Can't see anyone paying all that money, media hype about the values.

ebay need to be able to access your money to pay refunds etc if the buyers open cases
