GLobal Shipping Programme Negative Feedback Nightmare

Hi

I sold an item through Global Shipping. It appears to have been damaged in transit and buyer has now left me negative feedback. I thought sellers were protected from neg feedback for damage to items after they leave the global shipping centre? How do I get the neg feedback removed?  Cheers

Ps I am never using Global Shipping Ever Again - sellers beware !!!

Hello

You ought to be protected for such situation when this happened when enrolled into the GSP =Once your item has arrived safely at the shipping centre, we’ll protect you from any delivery-related defects against your seller standard thus you ought to have the neg & the associated low dsr's removed in this instance

It says on http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/shipping-globally.html#protected

How sellers are protected

With the Global Shipping Programme, you're protected in the following ways:

  • You aren't responsible for item loss or damage that occurs after the item is forwarded by the UK Shipping Centre. Once an item has been forwarded by the UK Shipping Centre, you won't be responsible for refunding the buyer if an eBay Money Back Guarantee or PayPal Buyer Protection case is filed against you for one of the following reasons:

    • A buyer claims an item isn't received or

    • A package is damaged in transit

Call CS & make sure  to remind them of  their own Policy & ask to speak to their GSP department

This surely cannot be interpreted any other way so you the seller ought not to be penalised with a neg &  defect(s) !!!

Use the Help & Contact link (bottom of page)

If you don't want your listings to appear in countries served by the Global Shipping Programme, you can opt out of it.

To opt out:
  1. From My eBay Site Preferences, select Show from Postage Preferences.
  2. Select Edit from Offer the Global Shipping Programme.
  3. Select Opt out.
  4. Review the information and confirm your decision by selecting Continue to opt out.

Hope this helps somehow Woman Happy
