Fraudulent/counterfeit/ fake item received

Morning,

I recently received my order which was clearly a fake as soon as I opened it.

I contacted the seller 3 times and heard nothing so I requested a return stating the item was a fake.

The seller has waited until the very last minute of the deadline to accept the return, but now I need to print a label and pay for postage which I am not doing as that would leave me further out of pocket.

I just want my money back, what can I do?????

You've been a member for 16 years, and there is a link to eBay's money back guarantee at the top of every single listing. In all this time, did you never think of learning about it?

The seller would have had just three working days to respond and send you a prepaid return label. If they didn't, eBay would have enforced a refund without even requring the item to be returned.

Why throw this valuable protection away by never botherng to read about it? For next time, see: https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/. The full terms and conditions are given here: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/money-back-guarantee.html

If you get a fake do not waste time contacting the seller.  Open a case at once.  It sounds to me - and what you write - that you opened a "return" case [which is for change of mind].  If you had opened a "not as described case" then your seller would have sent a label which was "post paid".

If you did open the wrong case then that is your only chance I am afraid.   You can pay for the [tracked] postage to get the item cost back but while the seller "might" repay the postage he does not have to and ebay will not help
