Fraudulent Listing

I bought an item on auction.  The seller then cancelled, I believe because they were unhappy with the price, but there was no reserve and I think this is a fraudulent activity.  I now believe the item has been relisted.  I have gone through the steps to report the item as fraudulent but that didn't allow me to explain the background so I suspect Ebay will just ignore it.  How do I get them to take notice or speak to them about it?

I left negative feedback after the sale was cancelled. At that time I didn't know for sure it would be relisted.

There is no fraud  and ebay will certainly not take any action.  Who has been defrauded? Have you lost any money? Answers are No one and No.  Therefore No Fraud.

It is foolish of a seller BUT no one can force a Seller to complete a sale. If they want more money they should list at the minimum they want. 

Reserves are expensive with a minimum reserve of £50 and the fee is 4% of the reserve payable sold or unsold.

My understanding is that a completed auction is legally binding on both
parties.

Then sue the seller for breach of contract. EBay can't force them to send you the item.

I agree but they could stop the item from being relisted. Unfortunately there seems to be no way to alert them to what is going on.

EBay punishes sellers who do this with no fee credit and a defect, they will think that's enough, especially as they will get more fees when it is sold again.
