For concern member i win mercedes 709d last night but the seller refuse auction price

I bid mercedes 709d yesterday and won .The winning bid was £1076.00 immediately after the auction i send message to arrange for payment and collection as stated in his avertisment.

He responded saying that he paid £1350.00 from Devon therefore he want me to pay that money in stead of the winning bid.

he clearly refuse to accept the winning and slam the phoine on me.

Can someone help in this situation.

You shouldn't be paying for any Vehicle until you have actually been and inspected it. It may not even exist. Could be anyone's pictures. You did the right thing refusing to pay any extra. You could have lost even more money. Don't agree to any Cancellation. Ebay will charge him the Final Value Fees. He will also have given himself a Damaging Defect on his Account. Leave appropriate Feedback.

Be careful who you Buy off next time.

If he wants a higher price then he should start an auction at that price.

Listing a Car costs I think it is £14.99 and that is not refundable, the selling fee is £25 minimum,and that is only refundable if he cancels with your agreement, so it could cost him a lot of money not selling.

As a warning to others  you should leave negative feedcak and low stars, just say "Seller refused to honour the sale".
