Final value fees

I have just recieved my sellers fees invoice and see l have been charged a final value fee on an item a buyer returned and l issued a full refund. Is this correct?

When the buyer returns an item they should open a dispute or return

You deal with it through the resolution centre dispute

When you get your item back then you refund in full through the dispute

If you dont do it properly then you pay the fees

If you just refunded through paypal then you will pay the fees and a defect on your account

You could try and phone ebay and let them know and see if they will credit the fees

If they do then  come back and let us know.

I did do it all through the resolution centre...

If you did it correctly then you will have your fees credited too your ebay account

Go to the Account tab on your MY ebay page then Summary then Credits

Ebay charges fees to your account as soon as the item sells and invoices once a month

If you get money refunded then they use it off the next invoice.
If in time it would be this one but if not then the next invoice

I have just dealt with it via Chat. It was an oversight apparently abd l will be credited within the next 24-48 hrs. Thanks for your advice.

That is a good result.

Make sure you check that you get your credit as sometimes CS say things and they do not happen.
