Final value fee on postage

How can eBay be allowed to charge 10% of our posting costs?  This is soooo wrong! Does anybody else agree?

It was supposed to be due to rogue sellers who put on high postage (with then no fees) and low item prices (with fees) thus avoiding paying so much in fees.................... well that's what they say anyway  not sure how many people actually believe them of course

If you really want to discuss this with other eBayers I suggest you go to one of the discussion boards, Seller Central perhaps. There were certainly animated discussions on the subject when eBay introduced the fee three years ago.

However, I think that by now most sellers have done what they do for all fees and made sure that their buyers are covering all the costs incurred when selling on eBay - or anywhere else for that matter.
