Fees!!!

Is anyone else "surprised" at the, some might say, extortionate fees being charged?

My most recent sale was subject not to 10% - which is already steep for doing virtually nil - but closer to 13%!! £52 charged from a £405 sale is tantamount to daylight robbery. It needs saying.

I may buy in future but sales are not happening ever again on ebay.

Well i take that, like most of us sellers, you are now on Introducing managed payments on eBay | eBay

Believe it or not Managed Payments is slightly less in fees than what we used to Pay both Ebay and Paypal fees.

EBay's new fees under managed payments are almost exactly the same as the combined fees that sellers used to pay separately to eBay and Paypal. If anything, they're marginally less.
