Shortest post award, but not a question.
Please come back and explain fully.
Listing is free, that means the 35p listing fee is not charged, but when an item sells there is always a seller fee to pay.
When you sell on eBay, you use the facility of two separate Companies, so there are two sets of fees to pay.
The first amount you see deducted are PayPal’s fees of 2.9% plus 30p per transaction. This is for their services in processing that payment for you.
Then, you receive a monthly invoice from eBay, for 10% on all monies received from sales, this is for using their worldwide site to sell from.
You could do what most sellers do, that is, calculate all these fees, and add them to your starting price, so in effect the buyer pays, and you are not out of pocket.
If you are under Managed Payments, the fees are slightly less, but only by 0.1%, so negligible on low priced items.
