I recently listed an item under an eBay offer of 'maximum final value fee £3'. The item sold for £360. Great! Trouble is the winning bidder turned out to be a non payer. The case is due to be closed tomorrow and fee refunded so that I can relist or second chance offer the item. My question is this: if I make a second chance offer to the next highest bidder and it is accepted will this still come under the £3 max fee offer or will I be charged the usual 10% seller fee. On this amount it obviously makes quite a difference.
Edit: Have just answered my own question by finding the terms and conditions relating to the £3 promotional offer. They contain (amongst loads of other exclusions) "Final value fees apply for second chance offers". I will not therefore be making a second chance offer!
