I had a dispute with a chinese seller the item broke.I contacted them for a refund they say will send replacement still waiting
had to send in a dispute to which I have been told to send item back? case closed. now I am recieving e mails almost every day
saying it should be there soon and would I change my negative feed back and they would send me my money back,I feel
I am being blackmailed to lie to other buyers and I feel this is so wrong and e bay doing nothing so bloody angry that this is
allowed to happen. No I will not change feedback I recieved a shoddy item that broke and why should other buyers suffer what i have
and if they do not refund me will take the matter further and send the item to trading standards...oh they didn't ask me to return the item e bay did
You certainly do not need to change your feedback, it's factual and does not break any rules.
With regard to the case, eBay will have asked you to send that back as that's how it works, you need to return the item to the seller for a full refund or nothing - it's that black & white there's no grey area in an eBay case. The worst of it is that when dealing with these Chinese sellers you are expected to foot the bill to return the item and it also needs to go via a tracked means which often makes it more expensive to return than the item cost, a fact not lost on them i'm sure!
I don't think Trading Standards deal with overseas companies do they? I seem to think they only deal with UK companies but I might be wrong.
