I have recently posted an item for auction but received an email well before the closure time claiming to have won the bid and asking to send a courier to collect item.
Is there any way to report such behaviour?
You can forward the email to spoof@ebay.com
This sort of scam relies on foolish sellers giving out items to an unknown Courier, without being paid.
However they need your address and you cannot give that out until you have a real buyer and they have paid.
