I purchased an item and the seller had not described it properly and it wasn't suitable, the seller offered me a partial refund so i opened a case and Ebay found me in favour and allowed a return with full refund which i was happy with.
I posted the item 2nd class signed for and wasn't given a tracking number just a barcode on the receipt from the post office.
Therefore i couldnt add the tracking number and ebay then thought i hadn't returned the item (please bear in mind we are shielding and I had to wait for another family member to collect and take the parcel to the post office hence the long wait).
I have sent a message to the seller with an image attached of the post office receipt showing their details and the details of the postage.
Therefore, now, I have bought an item that wasn't described properly, have returned it but still won't get a refund either.
As a long time member of ebay, both selling and buying i feel very let down that i didn't have the option to show the correct postage on the case details and this has cost me almost £25.00 and for nothing. I am wary of buying through ebay now.
Why can't i follow this up? Ebay closed the case and now i don't have a leg to stand on?!
