THIS IS NOT SO MUCH A COMPLAINT AS AN OBSERVATION. I HAVE USED EBAY VERY MANY TIMES AND ALWAYS SENT FEEDBACK TO ALL THE DEALERS WITHOUT DELAY . REENTLY I NOTICE THAT MANY DEALERS DO NOT RETURN THE COMPLIMENT--THIS IS VERY POOR AND IS ABOUT TIME THAT EBAY MADE A POINT OF TELLING THEM TO BUCK THEIR IDEA'S UP AS IT DOES HELP FUTURE SALES AND THE BUYERS RESULTS . I WONDER HOW MANY OTHER BUYERS HAVE THIS COMPLAINT AS IT IS GETTING MORE OFTEN RECENTLY --I HAVE HAD VERY MANY DEALERS WHO DO NOT SEND OUT FEEDBACK AND IT IS VERY POOR ACTIONS ON THE PART OF DEALERS HOPING FOR FURTHER TRADE . PLEASE NOTE.
Did you know that as a seller you can only leave positive feedback and say nothing bad about buyers whatsoever whereas as a buyer you can shred the seller on every aspect of the transacton should you wish.
For this reason many sellers now feel that feedback is pointless hence you are seeing it being left less and less.
Feedback is voluntary, always has been always will be 🙂
As sellers are only allowed to leave positive feedback - even for the buyer from hell, it kind of defeats the object, which is why many no longer bother. It doesn't help the buyers results at all, because all sellers know that people who only buy can only ever have 100% positive, as sellers are not allowed to leave any other kind. This being the case, feedback for buyers is completely pointless and should be abolished all together.
Just so you know, there are far more buyers that don't leave feedback than there are sellers.
Feedback is entirely voluntary, always has been and always will be, so ebay will not be telling anyone to buck up their ideas.
