Excessive fees

Sold an item for £53 + £3.20 postage eBays new system paid me £48.71. Sold on a Friday told on Tuesday 0-4 days to receive payment.

Seems exccesive will be leaving Enay and using other platforms.

I don't understand your question.

The amount you received on managed payments is within a whisker of what you would have received when eBay and PayPal fees were charged separately.

You've been selling for years, and this is the first time you've ever posted here. Have you only just woken up to the fact that fees have always been roughly 15% of the selling price, including postage?

You areobviously on managed payments and have never bothereed to read anything about how it operates.

What is the difference in fees?  10% to Ebay and 2.9% to Paypal + 30p or NO PAYPAL FEE and 12.8% to Ebay + 30p.

If you had made the effort to read about MP , you would know that sale proceeds usually get to Bank within TWO days, excluding Weekends and Bank Holidays.

Good Luck with other Platforms, they all have rules that if you don't read them will only cause you problems.

There was no problems with PayPal being paid instantaneously.
Greed and higher fees with no policing over my bank account has made my mind up.
