Exceeding a sales limit

I was unaware of the new sellers sales limit until I received a message from eBay after I had posted my fifth item for sale. This item is likely to mean that I exceed my limit. What will happen if I exceed my limit? Should I withdraw this item from sale?

No ,  no need to withdraw it,  you will receive all the money the item will sell for.

If need be,  your next month's selling allowance if there is still a limit,  will adjust accordingly.

So say your item goes a £100 over this month's allowance,  next month will have £100 less allowance for you to use.

Once established and showing eBay you are posting out items promptly,  and keeping a defect free account,  your selling allowance will be increased.

This will show you your current selling limit, and there is a link to request an increase.

If it is not granted you are asking a little too soon.
