Hi
I have been trying to post an item for sale( cast iron skylights) but as soon as I press submit, it tells me there is an error and I can't submit, I have tried yesterday and again today both on laptop and phone. What is the problem? Thanks
You have returned to selling after a long break, so you will have an initial selling allowance limit.
This link will show you, your current limit and a link to ask for an increase.
If it is not granted you are asking a little too soon.
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/sellinglimits.html
For returning seller after a little break, then eBay will give you an initial limit to the number and value of items you can sell. This is usually 10 items, or up to a value of £650.
Once you show that you are posting out items promptly, showing you are the account holder, as many dormant accounts are hijacked, so they wish to see it is the real account holder, back trying to sell again.
After 45 days, sometimes 90, if there were low sales, they review your account. If all is Ok, they increase that limit.
Then, you can ask yourself, once a month, from the link in your Monthly Selling Allowance section on your homepage.
No harm clicking on that link now, if it is not granted, you are asking a little too soon.
