Error message when trying to retract a bid

Hi

I have tried to retract a bid as the seller has changed the description since I placed my bid. I have tried using the ebay link and although it says I have more than 12 hours and so can retract the bid, when I click "Submit" it brings up an "Internal error message" and won't allow me to continue. I have tried contacting Ebay, but all that happens is I'm sent on a loop with no way of sending them any type of message. Can anyone please advise as my only other option is not to pay and I do not want to get a negative mark against me. I have contacted the seller, but not sure if they can do anything their end. Don't worry, you won't get any kind of negative mark against your eBay account.

Your seller can easily cancel your bid.

Send them an eBay message asking them to cancel it because they've changed the  description and you no longer want the item, and you're having difficulty reracting your bid. You can send them the link to cancel a bid if they can't find it:
