I received an email from ebay about an issue which affected a payout to me for 21st June 2021
It said the issue has been resolved and the payout will be processed on 23rd June 2021.
I wanted to reply to this email to ask exactly what the problem was but It says on the email "we don't check replies to this email address, so please don't reply to this message. If you have a question, go to Help & Contact."
When you click on this link it just presents you with a set of standard topics or tells to go to the forum. Which is where I am doing this from.
I am pretty sure nobody on the forum will know what the problem was with my payout. That answer can only come from someone who works at ebay. How the hell are you supposed to contact ebay and get an answer to anything which does not come under one of their standard topics? I don't think they like people contacting them. They couldn't be bothered.
I ask this question becasue I also go an email from ebay on the 22nd June 2021 the day after the problem with my payout saying there had been new sign-in activity on my ebay account which was not me.
Contact them this way.

That email of a ' new sign in activity' is just a security measure, we're all getting it, the place is nearly always incorrect, I found myself in Scotland today, I live on the South Coast, so ignore the destination, but if it is the same time as when you logged in all is good, so just delete that notification.
I must agree with your thoughts on the actual ' location' that is sent on those messages. it is bizarre no idea why they cannot get it right, but they do get the time right spot on to the very minute. It usually happens the second you log in, if it happens at all, it does not appear all the time, no harm in changing passwords though, that's another safety measure in itself.
