Ebay witholding all funds from sales - customer service a joke, been on call backs, messages with some stupid people and they say its sorted, but then I need to verify my information and upload proof of ID again.... and again..... more than 30 times now and no payments. Is ebay really Cr#p or are they in financial difficulty? Statitory demand (followed by a winding up petition) is £750 in the UK shall we see who will flinch first? ebay or me.... I dare ebay to mess me around anymore.... Ebay UK may find a winding up petition filed (which means frozen bank accounts and it is also published in the london gazzette... hint for anyone else owed money.
If Ebay owe you more than £750 and their useless 'lack of' customer service refuses / fails to resolve the issue - you can send a 'statutory demand' (download from gov website, easy to fill in. If they don't pay you within 21 days you can file a winding up petition as this failure to pay demonstrates 'insolvency' (if the amount is over £750). Costs a little bit to file a winding up petition, but once filed it is published in the London Gazzette and then banks etc freeze bank accounts and the company is essentially unable to trade. Powerful tool for anyone getting messed around by ebay... just wondering if this will get resolved before I get over the £750 point?
