I bought a dress on 25 April. Seller agreed I could return it as I had queries over its actual size. Dress was too small. Seller needed return in 1 day which was done. Signed for and tracked. Item arrived back with seller on 7 May. Seller has since relisted item.
No refund arrived as sellersaid shehad problems, so I waited 4 weeks.
Raised a case with ebay AFTER seller said she had sent refund and it was ebay problem.
EBAY awarded case I my favour. No refund ( less sellers postage costs) have ever been received.
I have sent messages to ebay, virtual assistant send me round a loop that shows the case as closed. I am now desperate for help as the refund is £190. The seller, after having a rant back inMay that it,s EBAYS fault has gone silent . I think I have been scammed down let down by EBay.
First doublecheck you haven't received the refund because it goes back to source which can be overlooked. If you used your debit card, with or without Paypal, the money will return to your bank account in about 7 days. Credit card refunds return to card in up to 30 days.
If you definitely haven't received it contact ebay's live help about it. Click on "eBay Help", top right of page (or from My eBay pages it's "Help & Contact", top left). Scroll down to "Contact Us" and click on that. Select a topic, the nearest or any topic. On the next page, on the lefthand side you should get a link for "Chat with us". You may have to select different topics until you get the chat link.
