I may be being stupid, but I can't seem to open my messages. It either doesn't open or if I manage to open the page as soon as I click on reply I end up back on the home page. How can I contact the seller to tell them I have returned the item?
There have been problems with messages.
Why do you want to tell them you have returned it.
All disputes are done through the resolution centre at the bottom of the page.
Did you open the dispute
You put the tracking of the return into the dispute and when the seller receives it back they should refund
If they dont then you escalate the dispute for ebay to step in.
Unless you are doing a return through an Ebay case, you will not get a refund. Entering the tracking details into a case tells te seller it has been dispatched.
Again if no tracking then you will not be able to force a refund.
