Ebay just cancelled an outstanding request for a refund without any notice

How do I reach any actual customer support?  I'm a long time ebayer and this any never happened to me before.  The request was cancelled a few days after I asked the seller where my order was...

I'm out hundreds of ££, not good. Time to ditch ebay if I can't resolve this.

Soundasthough youopened a Not Received case. The only way a seller can win is if they have tracking showing as delivered.

You don't really give much information on the circumstances.

Thanks for replying - you're right, it was a not-received case. Turns out that I gave the seller too long to sort it out and eBay decided the case against me in error despite, as you say, no tracking. I did manage to reach support through the extremely well hidden chat function and they reversed the decision. The language used on eBay's messaging is fairly mis-leading. It said as no activity had taken place for 21 business days they were closing the case, however the last activity was messaged going out to the seller 10 days ago. Apparently the systems don't see that as activity. Anyway, the underlying issue was my mistake in allowing too much time to pass.

If you don't escalate case with 30 days, ebay close it. Try opening paypal case, escalate after 2 days, no excuses.
