Ebay buyer claims item was stolen

Hi guys, I sold a media player on ebay earlier this week, I shipped it to the buyer (the profile looks fake, it only has 2 reviews, 1 was mine), now the buyer shortly after they received it, they posted pictures of my parcel, opened and they claim the media player was stolen and they received a pair of shorts instead! What can I do? It's a clear 100% theft!

it's possible that it was stolen it transit.

Do nothing unless they open a case, then you have to respond and eBay would support the buyer in a not as described case.

Unfortunately if you try to fight it the fact that you are a business seller trading as a private seller in violation of eBay rules and the law might be brought up.

I have already contacted ebay describing what has happened. So I guess I got robbed 😞

A private seller does not have multiple identical new items to sell.You are a business seller and should be registered as such.
