I'm having the worst experience with ebay with regards to a return request made by a fraudulent buyer ;'( Last month i sold a £500 worth product which was duely delivered on time. Days later buyer claimed that product was received and worked well but some parts were missing including the charging box and cable that charges the prodcut! The odds of these missing in a package direct from the manufacturer is next to impossible. The buyer then claimed that the package had been damaged, so i suspected that the courier could have tempered with the package and pulled out the parts and charger. she said the product worked fine and just wanted the missing parts. now this is where i started suspecting her dishonesty because she couldn't have gotten the product to work without the parts and charger! Then days later she claimed that one of the products parts had broken while using it!! i had previously asked the buyer to send me pictures of the damaged box so i could get an answer from the courier but she kept dodging my request and instead said i was wasting her time, either i send another package or she'll return the one she had and request a refund. a case was then opened as prodcut not as described and return postage was required by me to send to the buyer. Knowing that this was going to be a loss, i contacted ebay who pretty much sided with the buyer saying that it was not in their interest to suspect the buyer but that i should send her return postage and have the product returned to me. i diligently sent the return postage but did / has she returned the product? No! Now guess what? Ebay has continued to issue her a refund and funds from my paypal have been deducted!! Now i'm trying to get hold of ebay support and this is also proving to be a nightmare!! God help me and this has really ruined my day :'((
